Seining  for California Red-Legged Frog & California Tiger Salamander

Work alongside experienced biologist Joe DiDonato seining two large ponds using a rope-drawn seine net, targeting red-legged frog tadpoles and California tiger salamander larvae. This hands-on field session counts toward permit hours required for a 10(a)(1)(A) incidental take permit under the ESA.


Prerequisites

  • 1–2 years experience as a practicing biologist
  • Working knowledge of CRLF and CTS species ecology
  • Familiarity with wildlife survey methods and listing status
  • Working toward ESA Section 10(a)(1)(A) take permits

Knee-high boots required · Waders optional
